About TEPA IoT Data Center
The Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration IoT Data Center is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and processing environmental monitoring data, with the aim of providing accurate, timely, and effective environmental data to support decision-making by the government, civil society organizations, and the public on environmental protection.
Optimistic Developments in Taiwan
Previously, the Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration's IoT Data Center relied on a mix of
databases such as Hbase, Redis, and Elasticsearch to supply third-party platforms with extensive IoT data
for integration and application. Despite their efforts, none of these databases could match the speed and
stability of the Falra Distributed Framework, a revolutionary data service introduced by Falra Inc. This
framework has proven to be a game-changer in the realm of data processing and application.
To further elaborate, the Falra framework offers a significant advantage compared to the native Julia
distributed module. Developers do not need to learn how to develop with Julia distributed, as they can
simply use their single-machine programs as is. Additionally, the Falra framework can be deployed on any
network that can be called via HTTPS, eliminating the need to deal with TCP or other network issues.
Falra Distributed Framework has achieved impressive results, boasting a 100x increase in speed and an 80%
reduction in costs. Moreover, it offers simple implementation through copy and paste, while remaining
stable and flexible. Even government agencies can efficiently process over 5 billion data entries with
Falra Distributed Framework, reducing the original processing time by a factor of 100.
